One platform
One platform, not an app for every job
Replace separate apps for scaffolding, lifting and rigging, fire compliance and inspections with one platform: a tailored implementation for each area, approved once by your IT team.
Many applications cover a single use case: a scaffolding app, a lifting and rigging app, a fire compliance app. Each needs its own IT approval and vendor review, and holds its own data. EXTAG is one platform with a separate, tailored implementation for each area, so IT approves it once and each team gets what it needs.
What one platform gives you
-
Approved once by IT
One security review and vendor approval for EXTAG, instead of a new approval for every use case. ISO/IEC 27001 certified, hosted on AWS in Australia, with SSO and multi-factor authentication. See security.
-
Tailored access per team
Each implementation can be managed by a different team, with role-based access at user and group level.
-
Tailored reporting
Each implementation has its own forms, workflows and reports. Where you want it, data can be rolled up through the asset hierarchy and Power BI.
Tailored, not one-size-fits-all
Each implementation has its own forms, workflows, access and reports, configured by the EXTAG team for the way that work is done. Forms and workflows are configured, not coded, so adding a solution or changing a form does not need a software release or data migration.
Keep expanding
Start with one solution, such as scaffolding or equipment registers, then add more over time without another app for IT to approve. EXTAG is used for everything from a few hundred assets to hundreds of thousands of assets, by organisations across Australia and internationally.

Common questions
Do we need separate apps for scaffolding, lifting and rigging, and fire compliance?
No. EXTAG is one platform with a separate, tailored implementation for each area. Each implementation can have its own access, its own team, its own forms and workflows and its own reporting. Your IT team approves EXTAG once instead of reviewing a different app for each use case.
Does each team see everything?
No. Access is role-based at user and group level, so each implementation can be managed by a different team with its own permissions. Where you want it, data can be grouped through the asset hierarchy and rolled up in reporting.
What does IT need to approve?
EXTAG once: one security review and one vendor approval. EXTAG is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, hosted on AWS in Australia with sovereign hosting available on request, and supports single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication and a full audit trail. Expanding to a new area does not need another app to be approved.
Is each solution generic, or tailored to the job?
Tailored. Each implementation has its own forms, workflows, access and reports, configured by the EXTAG team to match how that work is done. Forms are configured, not coded, so changes do not need a software release.
Can we start with one solution and add more later?
Yes. Start with one asset class and the way your people already work, then add solutions and work types as you go. Implement in weeks, not months.
What happens to our existing registers and spreadsheets?
Existing registers are brought in as they are, and the original identifiers stay on each record, so records stay matched.
Does it work alongside our ERP?
Yes. EXTAG works alongside your ERP and connects to it through its available APIs, configured by the EXTAG team. It does not replace your ERP’s finance, procurement or stores functions.
