Scan to see if it is safe to use
Fit-for-use status shows at the point of scan, so non-compliant equipment can be isolated immediately. Calibration, test and tag and other statutory checks have due dates against each item, and EXTAG alerts you before they expire.
Scan to take it, scan to return it
Check equipment out and back in by scan, capturing who has it, when and why. Each scan can update the location from the scanning device’s GPS, so movement between locations and sites is recorded as a history (GPS tags give live location where needed), and utilisation reporting helps you find equipment that is under-used and could be redeployed. Reports depend on the data captured, and with Power BI embedded we can create any report you need.
How it works on site
- Tag it. Attach an NFC tag or QR label to the asset or location.
- Scan it. Scan with any phone, pick the activity and complete the smart form.
- See it. Status and history show on the map and in reports straight away, with the location updated from the scanning device's GPS or set by a pin on the map.
