The EXTAG platform is hosted on AWS in Australia, and your data stays in Australia. Sovereign hosting is available on request. EXTAG is ISO/IEC 27001 certified, and it is built and supported by our own team in Perth.

Where is our data hosted?

EXTAG is hosted on AWS in Australia, and your data is stored and processed in Australia, including backups and disaster recovery. Sovereign hosting is available on request.

Is EXTAG certified?

Yes. EXTAG is ISO/IEC 27001 certified.

Who builds and supports EXTAG?

EXTAG is developed and supported in Perth, Western Australia. Our development, operations and executive teams sit in the same Perth office.

Who owns the data?

Your data is yours. It is only used to run your service, and you can export it whenever you need to. If you leave, we return your data and securely erase ours. Tags and labels you have bought remain yours.

Do we need to approve a new app for each use case?

No. EXTAG is one platform, so your IT team reviews and approves it once. New areas, such as scaffolding, lifting and rigging or fire equipment, are added as tailored implementations on the same platform, each with its own access and permissions.

How is access controlled?

Role-based access at user and group level, single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication. A full audit trail records who viewed or changed what.

How is data protected?

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

How is the platform kept up to date?

Platform updates are tested and released continuously.
